Some years ago, the Illinois PRN turned over the administration of the impaired pharmacist program to the Illinois Professional Health Program. This organization has a written agreement with the Board of Pharmacy. The pharmacy practice act specifies the dollar amount to be used toward funding of the program.

What about funding? The organization does not charge client fees. It does receive funding through license renewal fees: $5/R.Ph., & $2.50/ Registered Technician.

Active clients: Illinois Health Professionals
