This organization has a 5 member (non-paid) board of directors. It is free standing/separate from the Pharmacy State Board and the State Pharmacy Professional Organizations. This organization does not have a written understanding with the Board of Pharmacy, but does have a good working relationship with them. It has enabling legislation that makes them a “state legislative support group”. Clients get together for IPA meetings the last Tuesday of the month.

What about funding? The organization does not charge client fees. It does receive funding through the Board of Pharmacy.

Active clients include: Pharmacists, Pharmacy Students, and Pharmacy Technicians
