Baeteena M. Black, DPh, of Franklin, TN, was recognized by the Tennessee Pharmacists Association (TPA) with the 2017 Shelby Rhinehart Public Service Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her work and support of the pharmacy profession.
This award recognizes an individual who has devoted his or her life to supporting the pharmacy profession through legislative and service efforts.
She served for more than 20 years as the Executive Director for the Tennessee Pharmacists Association until her retirement in December of 2014. After her retirement, Dr. Black has continued to serve as the Program Director for the Tennessee Pharmacists Recovery Network (TPRN).
