The New Mexico impaired pharmacist program is now being administered by the New Mexico Monitored Treatment Program. The PRN hopes that it will continue to be an active support group.

What about funding? Clients are responsible for evaluations and urine screens. Funding through license renewal fees
has been legislated, but not put into action yet.

Active clients include: Pharmacists, Physicians, Dentists, and Nurses

Observation from the Editor: It was difficult to communicate with the Monitored Treatment Program.  I don't think
they are very much  aware of the PRN program aside from getting pharmacist participants in their counseling
programs, supervising the urine screens and keeping their contract with the board.
